Red River Hanover, a full brother to Richess Hanover and three-quarter brother to Rocknroll Hanover, should prove a welcome addition to the blossoming Indiana breeding program.
Also slated for stud duty at The Horseplex is Touchdown Town (Muscles Yankee--Graceful Touch) the full brother to world champion Muscle Mass 2,1:53.4 and last year's Harrisburg yearling sales topper Muscle Massive at $425,000.
In actuality, it's a sales topping family, as Touchdown Town attracted a top bid of $320,000 at the '07 Harrisburg auction, while Muscle Mass was the '08 mixed sale topper at $420,000.
Touchdown Town's promising racing career was curtailed by injury and it was decided to offer his almost-impossible-to-obtain bloodlines at stud.
His sire, Muscles Yankee, is considered the foremost trotting stallion in the world today, while his dam, Graceful Touch, is a full sister to the celebrated World Trotting Derby winner and European sire Cobol. Graceful Touch and Cobol rank as the only live foals credited to the champion broodmare Act of Grace.
