Fire broke out Wednesday morning (February 4) at The Thoroughbred Center, a horse boarding and training farm in Lexington, Kentucky that is affiliated with Keeneland.

News of the blaze comes courtesy of a report by the Lexington Herald-Leader which states that flames at the training centre produced heavy smoke. The two-alarm fire was reported at 8:17 a.m.

The Lexington Herald-Leader has updated its story to now indicate that the fire occurred in an area that houses tack shop, leather shop, chaplain's office and at least one apartment.

The report also states that the fire, which was complicated by winds, is now under control, and that no lives, equine or human, were lost in the blaze.
