MTR Gaming Group Inc. CEO Jeffery Dahl has gone on the record as saying that Scioto Downs in Ohio is expecting to open a $150-million expansion separate to its existing grandstand this spring
.
Dahl made the comments in an article by Columbus Business First, which also explains that the track has been annexed into the city of Columbus from Hamilton Township.
“We look forward to opening an exciting gaming and entertainment venue this spring, which will add to our current racing facility there,” the report has quoted Dahl as saying. “The city of Columbus and the surrounding communities will be proud of this new entertainment complex.”
