Preferred pacer Putnam MacKenzie helped Western Fair Raceway's leading driver Trevor Henry and trainer Dan Creighton cap off a successful Wednesday afternoon of racing in London with her four length triumph in the feature

event.

In the 10th race $12,500 Fillies & Mares Preferred Pace, Putnam MacKenzie provided Henry with his fifth win on the 12-race card while Creighton scored his third.

Putnam Training Centre's Putnam MacKenzie got away fifth but swept three-wide en route to the third quarter station and opened up daylight on the field before hitting the wire in 1:58.1 over the 'good' track rated two seconds slow. Passion R Virginie (David Dowling), the longest shot on the board at odds of 16-1, rallied wide from the backfield to get up for second with early trailer Jinglejanglejingle (Jason Brewer) coming on for third. The five-year-old Grinfromeartoear-Royas Bambi mare paid $11.40 to win for the second time in eight seasonal starts.

Henry and Creighton also teamed up to win with trotters Start Livin ($3.50) and Northern Illusion ($7.20). Henry's other wins were in rein to the Paul Taylor-trained pacing filly Courageous Asset ($13.30) and Bud Sinclair-conditioned sophomore gelding Buckshot N Bullets ($3.40).

Henry tops the track's drivers standings with 61 wins and is among the top five drivers in the nation while Creighton leads on the trainers side with 23 victories to his credit and has cracked Canada's top 10 list.
