It has been reported that there is an impending sale for the Bonnie Castle Manor and Marina in upstate New York, but any sale, if it is to happen, should not affect the racino proposal

, according to a report.

The news comes courtesy of an article by the Watertown Daily Times, which has quoted co-owner Marc Fernandez as saying that his father-in-law, co-owner Donald Cole, is “getting really close” to making the $140-million expansion a reality.

The expansion project, if it comes to fruition, would see an 'upscale racino' with a harness-racing track, a 30,000-square-foot casino and a 125-room hotel be built beside the recreation centre, which is located off of Route 12 in Alexandria Bay, New York, which is just minutes from the Ontario/New York border and a mere 15 kilometers from Ontario's Highway 401.
