Classic Farms' sophomore pacing colt Classic Gent continued his perfect season on Wednesday with a four and three-quarter length romp over a 'sloppy' track in the fourth race at Western Fair Raceway.
With Trevor Henry in the sulky for trainer Stanley Malec, the Blissfull Hall- Northern Jade colt advanced first over from fifth and wore down eventual third-place finisher I Wanna Be Geared before drawing off for the 1:59.1 triumph over the track rated two seconds slow. Cheyenne Ford finished second.
Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots champion Classic Gent is now a perfect six-for-six this year and has earned more than half of his $40,460 career bankroll during the win streak.
One race earlier, driver Jason Brewer steered King For A Queen to a three-quarter length victory, putting an end to runner-up L H Lil Count's seven win streak. Brewer won all four of his driving assignments on the 12-race card.
