Trot Insider has learned that a new pacing stallion will now be calling the province of Alberta home

Glenn Pinel has told Trot Insider that eight-year-old Million Dollar Cam horse Mr Saratoga p,6,1:49.4s ($667,695) will be standing at Schneider Standardbreds in Alberta.
"Al Christensen and myself have purchased Mr Saratoga, and he is being shipped to Alberta to stand at stud," Pinel told Trot Insider.
From 98 career starts, Mr Saratoga recorded 30 wins, 21 second-place finishes and eight thirds. He carries a record of 1:49.4, which was taken over Woodbine Racetrack at the age of six. Mr Saratoga, who last raced December 23, 2011, has banked $667,695 in career purses.
"He (Mr Saratoga) sure was a special horse. He has the heart of a lion and is one of the toughest I've ever trained," said Mr Saratoga's former conditioner, Anthony Montini.
