The Northlands Park stables and a portion of the grandstand became the backdrop for an Edmonton Sun Sunshine Girl shoot on Friday
.
The 90-minute photo session also involved shots for the upcoming popular Sun Bingo contest in the Edmonton Sun - which The Horses and Slots at Northlands Park is sponsoring.
Miss Canadian Derby Amanda Lam will be a Sunshine Girl this spring, while three Northlands Park-based grooms - Jodi Loftus, Katie Graham and Felisha Murphy - will likely appear in the Edmonton Sun in the coming weeks to promote the Sun Bingo contest that starts in early March.
