A House Committee in Virginia yesterday tabled a bill regarding the legalization of instant racing in the
state.
According to a report by The Thoroughbred Times, the bill looks to legalize the act of allowing gamblers in the state to wager on previously-run -- or 'historical' -- races at Colonial Downs and off-track betting outlets within the state.
The bill was tabled with a 5-2 vote from the General Laws Subcommittee on ABC/Gaming.
