At the yearling sales, some look for pedigree. For some it is conformation. Jennifer Alborano saw a "cute" son of Pacific Fella and had to have him. Her seemingly unsound logic translated to $2.6 million in purses. It could be enough to pull your hair out
.
The kicker? Alborano spent just $13,000.
"I thought he was cute and I wanted to bring him home," Alborano was quoted as saying in an article today in The Star-Ledger.
"He's the best thing that ever happened to me," co-owner Joe Alborano said when he announced Artistic Fella's retirement last week.
