Anytime N won the Mares Winners Over/Select pace at Dover Downs on Wednesday night (Feb. 24).
Edge Of Eternity and Anytime N both left alertly for early positioning, but driver Dexter Dunn took back with Anytime N and accepted the pocket. Edge Of Eternity cut uncontested race fractions of :26.4, :55.3 and 1:22.4.
SkateBoard Chic recovered from a break and went off stride after the start. She raced first over past the half but did not threaten the leaders.
At the top of the stretch, Anytime N vacated the pocket and rushed past the 4/5 favourite Edge Of Eternity to win by two lengths in 1:51.
Anytime N is owned by KDP Stables LLC. and is trained by Josh Green.
Pacesetter Edge Of Eternity finished second for trainer Chuck Crissman Jr. Tim Tetrick was in the bike. Skateboard Chic finished a fast-closing third for trainer Bart Bradley. Corey Callahan drove.
Dexter Dunn won four races on the betting card.
There is a $5,000 guaranteed Pick-5 wager tomorrow, beginning on the 10th race and concluding with the 14th race. The wager is a 50-cent minimum bet with a 15 percent takeout.
