Three-year-old pacing colt Neal Diamonique fetched the highest sale price at the Standardbred Canada February Freeze Mixed Sale today in London, Ontario.
Neal Diamonqiue, the three-year-old lightly-raced son of Real Desire who was third in this year's final of The Count B at Woodbine, was purchased by agent Mike Hennessy of Dundas, Ont. for $70,000.
Hennessy was also the high bidder on three-year-old pacing filly Bette Blue Chip, the winner of this year's Blizzard Pacing Series at Woodbine. The Art Major filly sold for $62,000.
In front of a solid crowd at the Western Fair Agriplex, 140 horses went through the sales ring and brought a total of $935,200, resulting in an average of $6,680.
