Ways N Means, Kiera Seelster Headline Mohawk Qualifiers

Ways N Means winning at Woodbine Mohawk Park

Seven qualifying races went to the gate on Saturday (Feb. 21) morning at Woodbine Mohawk Park with Ways N Means and Kiera Seelster standing out among their corresponding gait classes.

Ways N Means trotted up the fastest time on the card with a 12-length romp in 1:57.1 in line to trainer Paul MacDonell. Owned by Dreamville Stable and Harbor Racing Stable LLC, the five-year-old gelded son of Muscle Mass and the Chocolatier mare Mariongotchocolate posted a record of 3-3-3 in 12 starts with $212,709 earned in 2025. In his career, he has won eight races and banked $445,736 and his qualifying mile on Saturday was his first appearance of the new year.

Kiera Seelster and Travis Henry posted the swiftest pace time of the morning action with a win by a neck in 1:57.4. Appearing in her second qualifying session of the year, the five-year-old daughter of Sportswriter - Keystone Tiffany won six races in 2025 with $47,200 earned. Garry Merner trains Kiera Seelster for owner Larry Delellis.
