Pompano Park management has announced a purse increase of 10 per cent, effective March 1.
The increase will cover all classes.
The Open classes will rise from $11,000 to $12,500 – a 13.6 per cent increase – and the lowest claiming classes will be increased from $3,400 to $3,800 – an 11.7 per cent hike.
Live racing will continue at Florida's only pari-mutuel harness track until the end of May.
