Callahan Continues To Dominate Dover

Driver Corey Callahan was recently featured in mainstream press and justified the attention with four more wins at Dover Downs on Sunday night to lift his meet-leading total to 198 winners

Featured in Saturday's Delaware News Jourmal, Callahan teamed with Big Bad Bosley to destroy eight rivals with a powerful 1:52.4 victory in the $19,000 feature winning by six lengths. Scott Dillon and Scott Pushard own the four-year-old Cams Card Shark-Scarletas Dream gelding, now a winner of three of his five starts this year earning $28,190. McAroni N Cheese (Jim Morand) was a far back second. Dawnza Albrit (Ross Wolfenden) took third place.

Jeff Gesek and Alvin Stafford's Supply Chain, with Ben Stafford Jr. in the bike, made a three-wide move at the three quarters and finally cleared turning for home on the way to a 1:54.3 victory in the sub-feature $16,500 4&5-Year-Old Mares pace. White Diamonds (Kim Vincent) rolled down the lane to become a fast finishing second. Art Paper (Ron hill) was the show horse.

Carter Racing Stable's Mindfreak went right to the lead and driver Jim Morand never looked back in a decisive 1:55.2 victory in a $12,500 4&5-Year-Old Male pace winning his third race in a row. The field was reduced to six starters when I Wanna Race and Shoeless Joe were scratched. Dreaming Of Art (Mike Cole) and To Do List (Brad Hanners) finished second and third respectively.

Corey Callahan's total of 100 wins place him second in North America. Josh Green re-took trainer leadership with three wins to break a three-way tie for first place with Tim Crissman and Dylan Davis.
