Jenna Huntbach, the daughter of the late horseman Ted Huntbach, experienced the affection of the harness racing community on her 25th birthday when a Trust Fund worth over $78,000 was released to her in honour of her father
.
Following the Kingston trainer’s fatal accident in June 1996, a Horseman's Benefit Fundraiser was organized in Halton by Jean (Jack) Belliveau. Horsemen, friends and family attended the event and raised over $34,000, which was then invested for Ted's daughter to receive when she turned 25. The Trust Fund worth over $78,000 was released to Jenna in January.
The Trustees of the Fund, Steve Skene, Pam Murphy and Harald Matteson, wish to thank everyone who contributed in Ted's memory.
