According to a release issued on behalf of Kentuckiana Farms on Friday (Feb. 18), multiple stakes and O'Brien Award winner Tall Drink Hanover had her first foal on Thursday at 6:10 p.m.
Reports are that both mother and foal, a colt sired by U.S. Horse of the Year Tall Dark Stranger, are doing fine.
Tall Drink Hanover made 35 career starts with 16 wins, five seconds and three third-place finishes. Her total earnings were $1,053,023 and she sports a mark of 1:48, taken at The Meadowlands. The majority of her victories were in Grand Circuit stakes events. She was victorious in the She’s A Great Lady, International Stallion Stakes, Eternal Camnation, Matron Stakes, Simcoe, Shady Daisy, Adioo Volo, Pennsylvania Sire Stakes and other stakes events.
Tall Drink Hanover (Captaintreacherous - Take Into Account) is co-owned by Alagna Racing, Marvin Katz and Myron and Stephanie Bell’s Riverview Racing.
