It has been reported that a fire in a shed at a racetrack has caused $1 million in damages
.
An article on desmoinesregister.com explains that during the early morning hours of Thursday, February 17, Altoona, Bondurant and Pleasant Hill firefighters raced to the scene of the fire at Prairie Meadows.
The shed blaze took the better part of an hour to extinguish.
The reason of the blaze has yet to be announced.
