Corey Callahan has been on fire at Dover Downs so far in 2015, and on Tuesday the sulky sitter erupted for a seven-win performance.
The win parade for Callahan kicked off in Race 2 thanks to a 1:57.3 decision with Muscerene. He returned to victory lane in Race 4 with Nova Empress (1:59.4) before nabbing five straight wins beginning with Touchdown Mindale (1:53.2) in Race 10.
Jailhouse Juice (1:58), Nine Twenty Two (1:54), Windsong Ingenius (1:56.1) and Art Of Escape (1:55.1) capped off what turned out to be a brilliant day at the office for Callahan.
He’s up to 101 wins so far this season, with purse earnings in excess of $900,000. The career winner of 4,092 races is quickly closing in on $55 million in lifetime earnings.
