The six-year-old daughter of Western Ideal took the Tuesday feature in an impressive clocking of 1:52, and in doing so she improved her 2011 record to three wins from just five trips to the track.

Lightning Treasure, who was sent off as the 3-2 favourite, tucked into the four-hole in the early going for driver Jonathan Roberts while Alices Restaurant led the field through first-half panels of :27 and :54.2. Roberts angled his charge first-over and challenged Alices Restaurant to the three-quarter pole in 1:23.1. A :28.4 final quarter propelled Lightning Treasure to a two-length triumph over Boots Place, while Alices Treasure faded late and finished third.

Anthony Mannino trains Lightning Treasure, who is now a 23-time winner, for the Lightning Stable of Roosevelt, NJ. The mare has stashed away in excess of $40,000 this season and more than $451,000 to date.
