Whim Farms Adds Fourth Stallion

Whim Farms of Atlantic Canada has announced that it has added a fourth stallion to its stallion roster

for the 2009 breeding season.

The Whim Farms release states that for the first time, and only for a limited time, Quick Comeback p,2,1:56.2f, 3,1:51.3 ($105,294) will be standing at the farm in '09.

Quick Comeback (Big Towner -- Sarcastic, by Slapstick) is one of the most dominate sires in the Maritimes, already siring winners of over $1.9 million in progeny earnings, 4-$100,000+ winners and 27 in 2:00 including Clinton Debriefed p,4,1:51.2f ($432,608), Flaming Moe p,1:52.2h ($274,822), Argo Flutie p,1:54f ($168,321) and Black Bowtie p,3,1:55.1s ($106,682).

In 2008, Quick Comeback was first for number of three-year-old winners per foal in Canada (75%) and was second for number of two-year-old winners per foal in Canada (31%).

Quick Comeback is standing his first year at stud on PEI for a deeply discounted fee of $750.
