Name Your Price Second Leg Contested

The second leg of the Name Your Price Claiming Series was contested Monday, February 11 at Monticello Raceway.

After a Post-7 start, the Bob Lounsbury-trained and Bruce Aldrich Jr.-driven Tracys Song ($4.70), an eight-year-old daughter of Astreos, recorded a 1:59 victory in her split.

In another second-leg split, the Danny Gill-trained and Jimmy Marohn Jr.-driven Nutmegs Desire ($5.30), a five-year-old daughter of Real Desire, held on for a head triumph.

Winsmith Molly ($7.70) and driver Jimmy Taggart Jr. made every pole a winning one in the other split, as the six-year-old Gary Messenger-trained Badlands Hanover mare scored a one-length triumph over Pembroke Boogie in 1:58.4.

The final preliminary leg will be contested on Monday, February 18.
