After standing his first season in the southern hemisphere at Yirribee Pacing Stud in Wagga, New South Wales, Australia, Stonebridge Regal p, 3, 1:49.3s; 1:48.1 ($1,065,578) returned to Ontario soil last night

Stonebridge Regal is from multiple stakes winner Lady Joanna p, 4, 1:53.3f ($393,805), the only mare in the history of the sport to produce two sons with 1:48.1 race records.
The fastest son of the great Artsplace, Stonebridge Regal raced 17 1:50 or sub-1:50 miles, six sub-1:49 miles and one sub-1:48 mile. His much-anticipated first crop of yearlings will sell this fall.
Standing his third season at Seelster Farms in 2010, Stonebridge Regal bred full books of mares in his first two seasons.
