Officials from CG Technology and Silverton Casino Hotel jointly announced earlier this week that they have received approval from the Nevada Gaming Commission to accept horse race wagers at Silverton Casino Hotel's sports book.
"We are pleased to receive approval and be able to offer our patrons of Silverton Casino Hotel the opportunity to wager on horse races," CG Technology President and CEO Lee M. Amaitis was quoted as saying via release. "We are confident this will enhance the atmosphere and experience of our sports book at Silverton and we look forward to offering race wagers to our customers immediately."
"We are delighted to receive approval from the Nevada Gaming Control Board,” Silverton Casino Hotel President Craig Cavileer said. “This gives us a complete race and sports wagering offering and makes Silverton a premier wagering destination in Las Vegas."
