Trainer John MacMillan teamed up with four different drivers at Rideau Carleton Raceway on Sunday evening to score a stable grand slam.

MacMillan's own three-year-old filly So Long My Love ($17.80) was the first winner on the 15-race program. Making her first start for her new trainer, the lightly raced daughter of American Ideal broke her maiden in 1:59.4 with Ted McDonald at the lines.

Trotting mare Out Of The Hate ($3.30) was a repeat winner in the following $6,500 claiming-conditioning race, matching her stablemate's 1:59.4 clocking. Denis St Pierre drove the four-year-old Kadabra mare, who completed a $21.50 Early Daily Double.

Trotter Merited Victory ($5) notched his third win in his last five starts since returning to MacMillan's care after being claimed away late last year. With Thomas Dalborg aboard, the eight-year-old Victory Sam gelding wired his ninth race foes to score his 40th career win in 1:58.2.

Veteran trotter Maximum Lindy ($10.70) capped off MacMillan's big day with a 2:00.2 triumph in the 14th race for $6,500 claimers. Darrell Coville worked out the winning trip aboard the 11-year-old S Js Photo gelding.

MacMillan has now sent out 10 winners from his stable in 2013. That pushes the Spencerville, Ont. horseman's career total to 1,268.

St Pierre matched MacMillan's four victories on the driving side, doubling his win count over the past two race dates at the Ottawa oval.
