Standardbred Canada’s Online Staking Service is proving to be a big winner for horse owners, as evidenced by the praise received by the first users
of the new system.
Earlier this week, horse owner Scott Edwards made use of the newly designed system to stake some of his horses to upcoming races.
“Your new stake payment program is absolutely awesome,” said Edwards. “It takes the task of making stakes payments and minimizes that to the simplest form. Furthermore being from Michigan, it is so convenient and simple. The US Postal System was requiring so much information and red tape or I should say brown tape and now all that is gone!”
Edwards explained his experience.
“Simply check the box, submit your credit card information and your payment is made,” he said. “This new program is just another reason we enjoy racing in Canada. The conveniences provided to owners from the Ontario racetracks and Standardbred Canada are second to none.”
The SC online staking service covers the majority of Canadian stakes your horse is eligible to be nominated to such as Ontario Sires Stakes (OSS), Woodbine Entertainment (WEG), and any stakes that SC currently administers including stake programs in Alberta and the Maritimes. Please note that payments for WEG stakes must be submitted by SC to WEG on the stake due date, therefore these stake online stake payments must be made one day before the payment due date.
