The New Jersey Racing Commission has today confirmed that the purse for the $500,000 Peter Haughton Memorial Trot will be released with The Lindy Reserve receiving first place money

.

Pastor Stephen crossed the wire first in that race, held August 7 at the Meadowlands, but was disqualified for interference and The Lindy Reserve placed from second to first. The connections of Pastor Stephen appealed that placing.

The Commission confirmed that no further appeals are forthcoming and instructions have been given for release of the purse to The Lindy Reserve and the horses that finished behind him in the following order: Neal, Leader Of The Gang, Magnum Kosmos and Charlie De Vie.
