Hidden Land Goes Last To First

Hidden Land circled the field three-wide from the three-quarters en route to an impressive victory in Tuesday’s $22,500 Filly & Mare Not Listed Preferred/Preferred Handicap Pace at The Meadows.

Hidden Land was sixth with cover stacked in front of her when Dave Palone tipped her into the three path. The four-year-old daughter of Badlands Hanover-Armbro Ocasey collared the leader, Coffee Addict, in mid-stretch and defeated her by a neck in 1:52.3. The ground-saving Do Me Honor earned show.

Brad Irvine trains Hidden Land, who extended her career bankroll to $133,957, for William Sartin and Mark Salerno. It was one of four wins on the 15-race card for Palone.
