The five-year-old son of Million Dollar Cam-Miss Place Hanover, who was ninth at Woodbine Racetrack on November 14 in his debut for the new connections, was a winner in 1:53.3 at Kawartha Downs on December 1 and followed up that triumph with another score on Thursday at Kawartha Downs.
In rein to Aaron Byron, Milliondollartouch got away fifth in the $12,000 Preferred-2 tilt before brushing to the lead shortly past the mid-way point in 1:00.2. He held a narrow lead at the three-quarter pole in 1:27.3 before using a :29.3 final frame to post the win by 1-3/4 lengths over Topcornerterror in 1:57.1. Midnite Romp rounded out the top three finishers.
Albina Montini of Acton, ON owns the 11-time winner, who improved this year’s record to 4-3-6 from 35 trips to the track. The pacer is closing in on $29,000 in earnings this season, and he’s banked $71,514 to date.
