Recent $500,000 acquisition Why Not Now will be heading to the stud barn in advance of his return to the racing wars in 2024.
Premier Acres of Middlebury, Indiana has announced that the Indiana Sire Stakes champion and Progress Pace winner will stand stud in Indiana next year.
During his three-year-old year, the son of Always A Virgin-Star Of The Show never finished worse than third and he defeated nearly all of the Grand Circuit stars including Cannibal, El Rey, Seven Colors, Moment Is Here and Hungry Angel Boy.
In 2024, Why Not Now will breed and race as a four-year-old in Grand Circuit competition.
"With one of the strongest pedigrees in the state, the royally-bred son is yet another 1:48 performer from his dam. He has the speed, size and conformation to be Indiana’s premier stallion," said Premier Acres in its announcement.
A limited number of lifetime breeding shares are available and the stallion will stand for an introductory stud fee of $5,000.
