Always B Naughty was purchased for $221,127 ($157,000 USD) by Greg Luther of Ohio via onGait.com.
Always B Naughty took her lifetime mark of 1:48.2 at The Red Mile in the Kentucky Championship Series as a three-year-old last year and is coming off a four-year-old campaign in which she took on the likes of Twin B Joe Fresh, Grace Hill and Sylvia Hanover while earning more than $260,000 on the season.
The career winner of a dozen races and $681,937 from 39 starts leaves the Nancy Takter barn, who was handling the training duties for her partners, Let It Ride Stables, Odds On Racing and R B H Ventures Inc.
Thirty broodmares and weanlings as part of the Let It Ride Stables and Odds On Racing annual bloodstock reduction are currently in the onGait auction ring as well as several horses from the Mal Burroughs Estate.
