Friday's feature from Harrah's Philadelphia was a winner's over $25,000 lifetime for filly and mare pacers, going for a purse of $25,000.
The slight favourite starting from post eight was Jeffery Bamond Jr. trainee Krispy Apple (Brett Miller). The millionaire mare wasted little time getting into gear, making the top before the quarter, going all the way with fractions of :26.3, :54.4, 1:22.1, and 1:51.3. She won by two lengths in the end, with Set Me Up (Yannick Gingras) rallying for place and Regil Elektra (Tony Morgan) finishing third.
The win was the 40th of Krispy Apple's career. The seven-year-old daughter of Western Ideal is owned Bamond Racing and Joe Davino.
Krispy Apple paid $5.60 to win.
