Big League marched to the top for driver Mike Saftic and clicked off fractions of :27, :57 and 1:26.1 before using a :29.1 closing to panel to win by a neck over Air West Hanover in 1:55.2. Riding With P rounded out the top three finishers.

“I thought he was up to that, and I think he’ll be even better racing out of a hole next time,” said driver Mike Saftic.

Previously trained by Sean Dooley, the two-year-old son of Four Starzzz Shark-Bolero Tam Tam bumped his lifetime earnings to $23,940 with the victory. The colt is owned by Dooley Boys Racing Stable of Halifax, NS and Cheryl Geldart Greer of Norton, NB.
