The candidates on the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame’s Living Horse Hall of Fame ballots have been revealed and ballots have been mailed out to voters.
This year’s outstanding candidates are Bettors Wish, Buck I St Pat, Manchego, Mister Big, Nuncio, Pure Country, San Pail and Shake It Cerry.
Standardbred horses are elected into harness racing’s Living Horse Hall of Fame by current members of the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame. Under new 2023 rules establishing an expanded slate of candidates, eight horses are now presented to the Museum membership on ballots mailed in early December. Ballots must be returned (postmarked) by Dec. 31, 2025. The four top vote-getters will be inducted into the Living Horse Hall of Fame on Hall of Fame Day on Sunday, July 5, 2026 in Goshen, New York.
