Trainer John MacMillan has put together a big year at Rideau Carleton Raceway, and he enjoyed a profitable night of racing on Thursday evening at the five-eighths mile oval

.

MacMillan, who started the evening leading all Rideau trainers with 119 trips to victory lane, pushed his number to 122 thanks to a three-win performance.

Panny got things rolling for MacMillan thanks to her 2:00 decision in the eighth race. Jacques Beaudoin mapped out the winning trip for the daughter of No Pan Intended who is owned by Percy Elkins of Campbellville, ON.

Ted McDonald used off-the-pace tactics to win the tenth race with Troubleman, who was a nose the best in a time of 1:59. MacMillan holds the papers on the son of Astreos.

The McDonald/MacMillan combo also clicked in the eleventh race with Sandy Barbielegacy, who romped to a nine-length tally in 1:55. The son of Western Ideal is owned by MacMillan and partner Kristin Keely of Spencerville, ON.

The training triple gives MacMillan 126 wins for the season, while his lifetime total climbed to 957.
