Save Me A Place highlighted a big Saturday, Dec. 29 program over a ‘sloppy’ track at Dover Downs for the Wayne Givens Stable and associates. Givens haltered four winners, two driven by Allan Davis with Legacy Racing Of DE owning three of them.

In the evening's feature race, Davis drove Save Me A Place into the lead at the three-quarters and then pulled away to an easy 1:54.1 score. Givens trains the Artsplace-Singin For Supper gelding. The win was his fifth of the year for owners Niel Gargiulo and Legacy Racing Of DE. Warrawee Monarch (Montrell Teague) led from the opening panel until being overtaken, and still held on for second. Four Starz Louie (George Dennis) finished third.

Givens' other winners were Garnet Marrow's Seboomook Boo Yah, the Ross Wolfenden-driven Lous Bad Yankee, and Jim Morand-reined Dinas Gamble.
