The Meadowlands is gearing up for its 2010 season, and from the sounds of it most of the horsemen
will be laying low on New Year’s Eve.
Trainer Kevin McDermott says he’ll be counting sheep by 10 p.m., while John Campbell hopes to be counting stacks and stacks of chips at the poker table.
The Meadowlands’ TV Department and roving reporter, Bob “Hollywood” Heyden, recently talked with a number of the horsemen to find out what their plans are for New Year’s Eve and what New Year’s resolutions are being made for 2010.
Post time for this Friday’s opening night card at The Meadowlands is set for 7 p.m.
