On Thursday (Dec. 24), the Minnesota Racing Commission granted Running Aces approval to conduct a 55-day harness racing meet in 2021.

The Columbus, Minn., facility is slated to begin their 2021 meet — the 15th in the track's existence — on May 16. As in recent seasons, Running Aces will offer three cards per week, but in a departure from past summers, Saturday racing will be replaced with Thursday cards. Sunday and Tuesday round out the trio of live racing dates each week through the meet's conclusion on Sept. 18.

After conducting afternoon racing during the 2020 season, Running Aces will revert to a 6 p.m. (CT) post time in 2021.
