Unabating ($4.10) earned his second consecutive victory in Rideau Carleton Raceway's $6,650 Winners Over Handicap Trot on Sunday evening (Dec. 27).

Meanwhile, even-money favourite Unabating, who was last at the quarter-pole, followed the cover of Caroluzzo and continued to gain ground when that first over competitor took over the lead down the backstretch.

Caroluzzo trotted past three-quarters in 1:30.2 with Unabating quickly moving up alongside and then edging ahead around the final turn. Unabating eventually drew one-length clear down the stretch and hit the wire in 2:01.3 over the "good" track rated three seconds off. Jetcrest came on for second while Caroluzzo settled for third.
