Richard Moreau trainee Hldontghttoyurdrms cleared command from post five and coasted to a two-length victory in the $8,500 Preferred 3 Trot at The Raceway at Western Fair District on the Boxing Day card Wednesday, Dec. 26.

Driver Alfie Carroll crossed to the cones and led pocket-sitter Nebraska Jack to a :29.2 first quarter. Decelerating towards a 1:00.2 half, Hldontghttoyurdrms forced odds-on favourite Scene A Magician to move first over heading to circuit two.

Hldontghttoyurdrms maintained a 1-1/2 length advantage on Scene A Magician trotting past three-quarters in 1:29.2 and the favourite began to fatler turning towards the stretch. Hldontghttoyurdrms stopped the clock in 2:00.3 as Liam Needsome, swooping from third over, took second from Nebraska Jack in third.

A nine-year-old gelding by Muscles Yankee, Hldontghttoyurdrms won his fourth race from 28 starts this season and his 35th from 184 overall, earning $505,707. The $6.00 winner competes for owner Frank Spagnolo.
