Count Me In roared three wide around the final turn and powered on to his second straight victory in Monday’s $20,000 Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows.
Count Me In was trailing by three lengths when Mike Wilder moved him wide for the decisive move. He knifed through the slop and scored at 6-1 in 1:56.2, a neck better than Summer Indian. Longshot Martz Time finished third.
Marty Wollam trains Count Me In, a four-year-old Full Count-Howl gelding who now boasts $256,791 in career earnings, and owns with Acadia Farms.
The 17-race card, which wrapped up live racing at the track for the year, was a showcase for Dave Palone and Mike Wilder, who notched seven and five wins, respectively.
