Those planning to enter horses in the Tattersalls Winter Mixed Sale will have until Thursday, Dec. 29 to get their entries in and still make the main catalogue.
The sale will be held in its usual spot on the calendar — Monday, Jan. 16 — in the Meadowlands race paddock.
“We extended the entry deadline, as with the back-to-back holiday weekends approaching, the catalogue wouldn’t get printed until afterward,” said sale manager David Reid. “We’d like as many horses as possible in the main book, and the past performances booklet to be current.”
Reid noted that more and more buyers access the catalogue and updates to the past performances online, or by using the Equineline app, which makes getting the print catalogue out early less of a concern today.

The Winter Mixed Sale is a live, in-person event that will also be livestreamed with real-time bidding offered at proxibid.com.
