Hat Trick For Hoerdt At Fraser

Trainer Kelly Hoerdt collected another three-win afternoon when sending consecutive winners in the middle of the Sunday, Dec. 22 program at Fraser Downs.

Hoerdt scored first when steering race-favourite Night Stick ($2.50) off a helmet to land a head in front of pacesetting stablemate Three More Smiles in the seventh race on the card. In the race following Hoerdt swept Proberts Legacy ($3.10) to the front past the half and won by three-and-three-quarter lengths. Blue Grotto ($5.70) completed the natural hat trick in the ninth race when firing from second over to win by a head over pocket-sitter Tahiti Seelster.
