Driver Paul MacKenzie collected five victories on the Saturday, Dec. 22 program at Flamboro Downs, one of which came in the $8,500 Fillies and Mares Preferred 3 Pace feature behind Outlaw Imahotvixen.

MacKenzie took the pocket with the Jodie Cullen trainee as favourite Ride Away Shark led to a :28.1 opening quarter. Regal Luck, sitting fourth, angled first over heading to a :58.2 half to pressure the pacesetter approaching circuit two.

Outlaw Imahotvixen continued to draft the leader as Ride Away Shark led first-over Regal Luck by a length through a 1:27.1 third quarter. Regal Luck crept closer to the tempo setter before sliding to the lead into the lane. Outlaw Imahotvixen ducked inside of Ride Away Shark and shot through the open stretch to win by a half length in 1:57. Ride Away Shark finished two lengths behind in third.

A four-year-old mare by Blue Burner, Outlaw Imahotvixen won her seventh race from 26 starts this season and her 14th from 61 overall, earning $126,723. Jodie and Ronald Cullen own the $7.80 winner.

MacKenzie won three races off of pocket rides. He steered Icantstandlosing ($8.20) to a 2:04.3 victory in a $7,600 conditioned trot, Play With Passion ($6.40) to a 1:56.1 win in an $8,200 conditioned pace and Power Move ($7.40) to a 1:59.3 score in a $6,800 conditioned trot. He also wired a $7,600 conditioned pace with Taydertotzz ($4.90), who MacKenzie also trains, in a 1:58 mile.
