Anyone looking for a racing fix after Christmas will find their fill at Western Fair Raceway on Boxing Day, as the track will present a live card with 16 races in addition to a giveaway and fun for the entire family
.
First-race post time on December 26 is 1:15 p.m.
The card promises to be very exciting with many competitive fields, including several preferred events for both gaits sprinkled throughout the program.
In addition to the action on the track, the first 500 race fans with a coupon will receive a free ‘I Love Canadian Harness Racing’ t-shirt in the first floor lobby starting at noon. Free face painting, balloons and magic will also be available from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the first floor Annex.
Western Fair will also be presenting a 12-race New Year’s Eve card on December 31 with a 7:05 p.m. first-race post. The next card at the London oval after that will be Monday, January 4 with a 3:35 p.m. start.
A reminder that starting the first week of January, Western Fair will be adding Thursdays to the weekly schedule. From January to April the half-mile oval will conduct racing four days per week, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays with a 3:35 p.m. first-race post time and Fridays which have a 7:05 p.m. start.
