Gias Surreal continues to inch her way towards the $1 million in career earnings milestone as she banked the winner's share of the $11,000 purse in the Fillies and Mares Preferred Pace on Thursday (Dec. 21) evening at Flamboro Downs.
As the bettors' choice in the distaff feature, Tyler Moore and the Don Lindsey student took the early lead before rating panels in :29.1, :58.3 and 1:27.1. With ease, Gias Surreal strolled home to a two-length victory in 1:55.2. In The Mood (J Harris) finished second with Shoot The Whiskey (Jason Ryan) third.
James Graham, Edward Peron and Lee Winters co-own the seven-year-old daughter of So Surreal who earned her fourth win of the season and 35th career tally. Gias Surreal moved her lifetime bankroll to $972,915. She returned $2.70 for the win.
