The winning streak is now three-in-a-row and counting for Buck Dancer, who was a handy winner in Monday’s featured trot at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

In rein to driver James MacDonald, Buck Dancer got away fourth in the $22,000 affair while stablemates Wings Of Speed (:28.2) and Hayek (:58 and 1:26.4) took turns on the lead. Race favourite Buck Dancer commenced a first over bid on the way to the half, and by mid-stretch he’d cleared to the front and began to trot away. He cruised home to win by 1-3/4 lengths over Hayek in 1:55.3. Never Mind N took home third prize.

Carmen Auciello trains the four-year-old son of Guccio-Shaken Not Stirred for Fox Racing Inc of New York. After going 0-for-2 last season, the gelding has now put together a 10-4-3 from 20 trips to the track this year. The $11,000 payday bumped his lifetime earnings to $83,440.
