The 2008 season has proved to be very kind to driver John MacDonald, who continues to stockpile wins and earnings at a furious pace.

MacDonald hit the 300-win plateau thanks to a five-win performance on Sunday evening at Rideau Carleton Raceway. That puts him 57 wins ahead of the 243-win season he established in 2006.

The resident of Russell, ON has also put up career numbers when it comes to purse earnings ($1,552,135) and UDR (.303).

His victories on Sunday’s 15-race card included President Pro Tem (1:59.2), Arafat (1:59.3), The Big Fred (2:01.1), Donmar Joey (2:01.2) and Stone Cold Billyo (1:58.4).

He racked up a single victory in his rookie year back in 2000, but he has tacked on 1,253 wins and more than $6 million since that time.
