Bill Davis had another productive night at Fraser Downs on Friday night. The resident of Langley, B.C. sent three winning pupils postward during the 10-race program.
Billy Davis, Jr. drove Silk Puddles to victory in Race 4 (1:55.2), then Davis took the reins in Race 5 winning with Shamardal (1:56.2) and Race 8 with Lunar Tko (1:55.4).
Davis has recorded 139 training wins this year and is nearing the $1 million dollar mark in seasonal earnings. In his career, he has recorded 2,886 wins banking close to $12 million in purses.
The runner-up in the Western Regional Driving Championship needs only seven more driving victories to reach the milestone of 5,000 career wins.
