Conditioner Sebastien Giroux added three more wins to his 2011 record on Sunday night in Ottawa to maintain his lead in the Rideau Carleton Raceway trainer standings.

Giroux kicked off the card on a winning note as his trainee Toxic Terror ($3.60) converted from the pocket and drew away to score by nearly six lengths with John MacDonald in the sulky. Giroux won two more races later on the 15-dash card as Fooled Ya ($2.60) went gate-to-wire to win for the second consecutive time in the 12th race with MacDonald and Luke But Dontouch ($5.60) and Denis St. Pierre came on to capture the 14th race.

Giroux now holds a four-win lead over Jamie Copley in the race for this year's track training title (140-136).

The 2011 season has been a career year for the horseman, who has sent a total of 144 winners postward to earn $756,660 in purses. Lifetime, Giroux has won 806 races while earning over $3.58 million.
